Abstract in Oils
My first ever Abstract in Oils: 'ADIs Abstract' This painting has abstract references to the Highway Code. Probably recognisable to our motorists, of course. However, while I'm the artist, I've been intrigued by certain viewers' remarks. Most of us can understand the references to road signs, but what amazed me was someone liking: "the hollowed-out sun" - abstract painting, yes... But very abstract viewing - I didn't anticipate it!
