Scrapes/bumps/bruising: early youth? (12.3.2019)

'The Back Beach' From my large and constantly evolving collection of photographs... aiming to combine my writing with suitable pictures: 'originals', of course! 😇 ~ this emoji's simply convenient, (one laughs) 😉; I admit that my use of this PC is very amateur... for my sins? My many hobbies/interest intertwine each other, is pure? username's 'ewenart': Writing; Photography, Prose-arts; perhaps too many to accurately record here: I'm sure; whoever knows, will understand me and my parts! 😔 Our days arrive... then they're passing so unfairly quickly; time's what we know it to be, and perhaps, quite restrictive? ~ anyway, if health and happiness are involved: it's celebratory; conclusively, now, living here joyfully's deceptively addictive! 😍 © Ewen A. Morrison  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                         'Dileas' by name: our wee dog ~ Both of these youngst

Originally ''òg", was my nickname...

Young/òg Tha mi òg!/I am young! when referring to 'Murray'; you'll frequently meet him within Dunbeg's shop... or others like William... well tended to, anyway: local store - useful and handy for a wee stop! Murray's endlessly occupied ~ is continually busy, however, he'll have time for their customers too: that's part and parcel of the service... not easy; much better than supermarkets/wee shops? too few! Before long, he's taking some time away: St Kilda; yet, business people get 'married' to their tasks, but holidays are priceless... more joyful than "aha!" afterwards, says "fully-refreshed", if anyone asks? © Ewen A. Morrison  ~ During a brief conversation with my friend, Murray Young, who sometimes calls me by an old nickname: 'Og' - from my teenage years - which was spelt in an English style, of cours

Neighbours

Image
Neighbours Mary and Ian lived next door to us in Ratagan y' see;   many, many years ago... have rarely revisited, since; however, in later years, resumed contact with Cathie, and perhaps more in future, when given the chance? Presently, our lives are much less than settled, yet... "sin mar a tha e!" 'that's how it is ~ that's life!', as said in Scottish Gaelic... which many of us will get! Many villagers understood it: certainly would pass. Within a few weeks: our situation will be clearer... otherwise, I'm only speculating - must be patient, after all, my impatiently writing's never any clearer and treating these hobbies as such... I'll repent 😕

Walking Staff and Basha                                 My photo shows  that on Sunday‎, ‎January‎ ‎20‎, ‎2008, 10:46 PM ~  I was using the simplest of hillwalking/camping options... however, I've recently altered these arrangements: having joined two Bashas together, the combination is larger and still waterproof, of course! This new entity was originally formed to serve as a motorcycle's cover/shelter - very effective, for before our workshop being built! Furthermore, these Bashas have been wonderfully useful for both camping and Kayaking Trips... that touches on both history and future prospects. 😉 Generally speaking, while there's a lot due to occur over coming weeks and months, I'm hoping that there will be time to indulge in more hillwalking, canoeing and kayaking, of course; the most recent paddling was in the company of our friend Murray Young, which certainly reminded us both how enjoyable tha

Alba's Awakening!

Image
Alba's Outdoors As we know, ' Alba'  is Scotland... in some minds, they are one and the same, as our own history can clearly confirm. While individuals continue to evolve, of course, then so must their countries - spiritually and, over millennia, geographically! Evolution is evident over time... sometimes gradually and sometimes, incredibly rapidly. Who can seriously declare when each evolution has concluded? Ultimately, there comes a time when people feel they can look back at certain ages and declare that it was one or another 'age': like the 'Jitterbug age' or the highlight of another one? In this year 2017, many Scottish citizens are consciously aware of the highlights, or otherwise, in our present political era: almost everything points toward Scotland's independence being regained. Our people are equally aware of how biased the mainstream media is! It's almost impossible to find elements which reflect positively on our Scottish go

'Choose their tomorrows, not your yesterdays'

Image
71% of 16 to 24-year-olds want to run Scotland themselves. 69% of over 64s want Scotland to stay run by the country next door. Choose their tomorrows, not your yesterdays...... Saorsa... Saorsa/dan: freedom/poem, song ~ our language, whatever we wish communicated: tongue's usage. How one speaks/hears may well differ sometimes, the message succinct... no reading between lines! Example case, whatsoever word, like 'tairgsinn',  while I'm busy writing this poem here on 9.7.16: borrowing  Gaidhlic terms, while on this case... perhaps ancient wisdom will touch on this base? (Tha sin mar sin - that's the way it goes/ that's life"  ) © Ewen A. Morrison  Presently, we're both witnesses and the victims of the comatose 'UK'... our descendants will find this situation to be almost unbelievable! However, the electorate in Scotland do have an alternative option: to resume our independen

Sisters

One and all Rosemary, Ann and Jean, not two:  happily married to our families, yet adoring our commitments too; "Seldom relax enough", do-please! Some people value holidays more, while many among us... otherwise 'vacationing'  its an American core?  we're real carers: is our 'reprise'! Rarely, yet suitably, we may rest ~  unlike some folks... are commitments, for beloved, we're aiming for best: ultimately... satisfaction compliments! © Ewen A. Morrison  🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
