Brothers

Angus and  Roderick,
Both Scottish sons, struck;
Angus fatally...  Roddy not,
Roddy, more fortunate Scot.

Eternally remembered, loved,
Were Lost, injured and beloved,
Dearly, calmly contemplated;
Done, knew, and meditated.

Revered through passing ages,
While lacing histories pages;
Angus's memories truly last,
Always echoing through past.

Safely you walk in freedom,
And welcome as if you come;
Here in freedom, as was won,
Can bask in freedom's sun.
